NHU: Accident at the Shangyu base, no impact on production
Zhejiang NHU Co., Ltd. had a safety accident on August 2 during a maintenance shutdown at its 508-1 workshop, resulting in four people being injured.
NHU said that it arranges an overhaul of the production line in the third quarter of every year, and the overhaul time depends on production tasks and equipment operation. As of now, since it does not involve production equipment and is in a maintenance shutdown period, it is not expected to affect production at the base.
NHU's operating income is comprised of three main segments: nutritional products, flavors and fragrances and new materials. The nutritional products segment includes vitamins and methionine, while the vitamins segment mainly includes four major varieties of Vitamin A, Vitamin E, Vitamin D3 and biotin.
NHU is the global leader in vitamin A and ranks among the top in vitamin E. NHU is also the world's largest producer of vitamin A, vitamin E and vitamin D3.
