China's petroleum and chemical industries usher in five new opportunities
On September 6th, at the "Science and Innovation Month" Petrochemical Industry Development Forum at the Science and Technology Innovation Port in Western China, the progress of the world chemical industry has changed under a century of great changes. The chemical industry in Asia has risen rapidly, with a huge market scale and active innovation capabilities. Li Shousheng, president of the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation, pointed out that at present, the development of China's petroleum and chemical industry has ushered in new opportunities. First, the launch of new national infrastructure projects will strongly stimulate market demand for energy, new chemical materials, electronic chemicals, basic chemical raw materials, coatings, and rubber products. The second is the transformation and upgrading of the internal structure of the petrochemical industry to quickly make up for shortcomings, increase technological research and development and innovation, and breakthroughs will be made in some commanding heights. The third is the rapid advancement of green development and digitalization. The industry must focus on advancing and grasp the new breakthroughs brought by digital industrialization, promote the deep integration of the Internet, big data, artificial intelligence and the real economy, and actively promote the digitalization of the industry Transformation. The fourth is to create a new dual-cycle pattern in the domestic and international markets. Countries along the “Belt and Road” have always needed to import Chinese chemical products such as fertilizers, pesticides, and tires, as well as Sinopec's cooperation in equipment, technology and services. Cultivate "leading sheep" enterprises and chemical parks.
Li Shousheng said that under the great changes, the focus and direction of the innovation and development of the world chemical industry have also been adjusted. The breakthrough of new energy technology and new energy technology is creating a long-term coexistence of traditional energy, emerging energy, energy storage technology and intelligent control technology. , A diversified new era of harmonious development; the research of new chemical materials is creating new breakthroughs in new structures and new functions; environmental chemistry is creating a new realm of green chemistry and circular economy; modern coal chemical industry is creating efficient and clean utilization of coal and differentiated development New ways; agrochemicals are creating new intelligence for precise supply on demand; life sciences are creating a new system of molecular levels and gene proteins.
