ANZ consulted on arabinofuranosidase from Trichoderma reesei transgenic Trichoderma reesei as a processing aid

On 2023 February 2, the Australian and New Zealand Food Standards Agency (FSANZ) issued Notice 8-230, of which A23 applied for comments on a arabinofuranosidase as a processing aid.

 
It was reported that the arabinofuranosidase enzyme was produced by genetically modified Trichoderma reesei for use in grain processing and in the production of drinkable alcohol. The deadline for comments is 2023pm (Canberra time) on 3 March 22.
