ICC Invites Nominations for 2017 Awards

The Indian Chemical Council (ICC) has invited nominations for the following ICC Awards for the year 2017:

General category:

ICC Acharya P.C. Ray award for development of indigenous technology. ICC award for excellence in process design (including process intensification) & engineering. ICC D.M. Trivedi lifetime achievement award for contribution to Indian chemical industry (Management of industry and education & research – nominations by way of invitation only.

The following awards will be given under two categories [Category I: Companies having annual sales revenue above Rs. 750-crore; and Category II: Companies having annual sales revenue below Rs. 750-crore]:

- ICC award for excellence in management of health & safety.

- ICC award for excellence in management of environment.

- ICC award for excellence in energy conservation and management.

- ICC award for social responsibility.

- ICC award for excellence in human resource management in the chemical industry.

Nomination forms for the ‘ICC Aditya Birla Award For Best Responsible Care Committed Company’ and for ‘Certificate of Merit for Best Compliant Company for the Codes under Responsible Care’ will be invited separately.

Participation is open to any industrial unit engaged in operation of refinery; petrochemicals; fertilizers; inorganic & organic chemicals; speciality chemicals; pharma/biotech; agrochemicals; man-made fibres; soaps & detergents; paints & pigments; dyes & dye intermediates, both in public and private sector.

Nomination forms could also be downloaded from the ICC website – www.indianchemicalcouncil.com. The last date for submitting the nominations (in ICC Mumbai Office) is May 31, 2018.
