ICE Cotton Futures Market Mixed
ICE cotton futures market was mixed.
Cotton contracts for Jul closed at 84.42 cents per lb, down 0.31 cents per lb and Dec contract closed at 79.57 cents per lb, up 0.22 cents per lb. By the week ending Apr 26, sales of 2017/18 U.S. upland cotton were 43.1kt, down 39% from previous week and 34% from prior 4-week average.
Cotlook A Index rose by 0.25cent/lb to 93.50cent/lb.
