BASF Launches 2020-2021 Automotive Color Trends Series
Designers at BASF's Global Coatings division have created this collection, called CODE-X, which ranges from new, re-imagined whites to the deepest blacks and a variety of vibrant color spaces in between. These colors provide inspiration for automotive designers of cars that will be on the road in three to five years. Many have effects or textures that make them a truly tactile and visual experience. Global key colors range from gray-green to warm beige to bold gray. With new thinking driving a major shift in values around society, identity and progress, the collection represents a convergence of the physical and digital worlds, thus maintaining hope and positivity while dealing with change.
