Honeywell Establishes Low-Carbon Smart Building Research Institute

Honeywell recently announced the establishment of the Honeywell Low Carbon Smart Building Research Institute in Shanghai and held a launching ceremony. The institute will focus on promoting the development and application of low-carbon technologies in the construction sector to meet the growing demand for sustainable development and digitalization in the construction industry.

According to reports, the research institute pays close attention to the five major fields of building IoT, advanced energy conservation, flexible energy utilization, digital intelligent operation and cross-system integration, and uses Honeywell's innovative products and mature solutions as the engine to help the transformation and upgrading of China's construction industry. With open innovation and integration of superior resources as the core idea, the institute will invite many experts in the field of construction as special consultants, and cooperate with leading enterprises in the industry chain as the first batch of specially invited strategic ecological partners to create joint solutions.
