Bhansali Engineering Completes ABS Capacity Expansion
Bhansali Engineering Polymers Ltd. (BEPL) has reported successful completion of its ABS capacity expansion project that has taken its resin manufacturing capacity at its Abu Road Unit from 80-ktpa to 100-ktpa. The project has been completed within the envisaged cost and time frame, i.e. Rs. 20-crore and March 31, 2018, respectively, the company said.
The cost of this expansion has been financed through internal accruals of the company, while it continued to maintain its status as a zero debt entity. BEPL is one of the two companies in India involved in the manufacturing of ABS & SAN. ABS finds use in the automobile, home appliance, telecommunications, luggage, bus body and other industries.
