Corn prices rose in Myanmar

The period of duty-free export of Myanmar maize to Thailand is from February 1 to August 31. Myanmar produces about 2.5 million tons of corn annually, mainly to Thailand and China, and then to India and Vietnam in normal trade by sea.

The chairman of Myanmar's Association of Beans, Corn and Sesame Merchants said that the export of corn, compared to last year, shipping exports, the largest, the end of the fiscal year corn exports increased.
