Canada recalls hot sauce contaminated with Bacillus cereus
On April 17, 2023, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency issued a recall notice that Lazeez Shawarma is recalling a hot sauce because the product is contaminated with Bacillus cereus. Information about the recalled products is as follows:
The recalled products, which are called Hot (Sauce), were manufactured between March 8 and March 18, 2023. These products have been sold in Ontario.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency advises consumers not to eat the recalled products, to check their homes for the presence of the recalled products, and to discard or return them to the store where they were purchased.
