The project will be constructed in two phases: the first phase will build a 100,000-ton/year BDO plant and a 400,000-ton/year synthetic ammonia (intermediate products) plant; Phase II construction of 100,000 tons/year BDO plant, 60,000 tons/year DMC plant, 60,000 tons/year PTMEG plant, 100,000 tons/year DMF plant, 200,000 tons/year hydrogen peroxide plant, 200,000 tons/year PBAT plant, 400,000 tons/year saturated monyl alcohol (intermediate products) plant.
The New Xiangyun coal-based new material project belongs to the coal chemical sector of the New Xiangyun New Material Industrial Park project of China Chemical Co., LTD., and is jointly invested and constructed by China Fifth Ring Engineering and Wuxue Xiangyun Group. Chemchina Xinxiangyun New Material Industrial Park project with a total investment of about 25.5 billion yuan, covering an area of about 4,350 mu, will be constructed in two phases. According to the product category, the project is divided into three sectors, namely phosphorus chemical sector, fluorine chemical sector and coal chemical sector. The coal chemical sector is a major measure to extend the industrial chain of Xiangyun Shares to new chemical materials and new energy batteries. The products of the new project, BDO, PBAT and PTMEG, are an important part of the degradable plastics industrial chain.
