350,000 tons/year phenol acetone and 240,000 tons/year bisphenol A
On June 9, a groundbreaking ceremony was held for the construction of a 350,000-tonne-per-year phenol acetone plant and a 240,000-tonne-per-year bisphenol A plant at Jilin Petrochemical Company's refinery and chemical conversion and upgrading project.
The project is part of Jilin Petrochemical's refining and chemical conversion and upgrading project. The construction site of the project is located in Jilin Chemical Industry Circular Economy Demonstration Park in Jilin City, the eastern New area, oil refinery and high carbon alcohol plant, the organic synthesis plant, calcium carbide plant, dye plant and fine chemicals plant in the middle, and the acrylonitrile plant, fertilizer plant and synthetic resin plant in the west. The total investment in the project submitted for approval was RMB39,945.16 million and the construction investment was RMB35,101 million. After completion and operation, it will play a positive role in promoting the realization of the development strategy of "one master and six pairs" of Jilin Province and the "four action" plan of Jilin City.
Jilin Petrochemical's total refining capacity is 9.8 million tons per year..After the implementation of the project, the refining part of Jilin Petrochemical will adjust the types of crude oil processed on the basis of the total crude oil processing scale remaining unchanged. Newly built 2.2 million tons/year wax oil hydrocracking plant (including 0.3 million tons/year naphtha n-isomerization separation), 1 million tons/year diesel adsorption plant and 0.3 million tons/year C2 recovery plant. The existing Ⅰ atmospheric and vacuum unit was modified to process Russian crude oil, and the Ⅱ atmospheric and vacuum unit was adapted to process Qing/Ji crude oil. The 900,000 tonnes per year hydrocracking unit was converted to a catalytic diesel hydrogenation and upgrading unit, which uses straight-run diesel as a feedstock and no longer processes wax oil, while maintaining crude processing capacity; 1 million tonnes per year of delayed coking units for environmental protection retrofitting; the solvent regeneration system of the Ⅲ sulfur recovery unit in the 2+ 20,000 tons/year sulfur recovery combined unit was adapted to make its processing capacity reach 240 tons/hour, and the Ⅱ catalytic cracking unit was shut down.
The chemical segment will build a 1.2 mtpa ethylene plant, The downstream supports the construction of 1 million tons/year cracking gasoline hydrogenation, 450,000 tons/year aromatic hydrocarbon extraction combined plant, 400,000 tons/year high-density polyethylene plant, 300,000 tons/year ethylene oxide ethane plant, 400,000 tons/year EVA plant, 350,000 tons/year phenol acetone plant, 240,000 tons/year bisphenol A plant, 40,000 tons/year ethylene propylene rubber plant, and 1/40,000 tons/year MTBE/ 1-butene unit, 600,000 tons/year styrene unit, 260,000 tons/year acrylonitrile unit, 600,000 tons/year ABS unit, 800,000 tons/year solvent deasphalting, 160,000 t/a asphalt gas making unit, 50,000 tons/year butadiene rubber unit, 200,000 tons/year butadiene extraction unit, 8,000 tons/year acetonitrile unit.
