600,000-tonne BDO project under Sinotec to start next month
On March 15, seven counties and two cities in the Aksu region of Xinjiang Autonomous Region held a simultaneous ceremony for the first quarter of 2022 to focus on the commencement and resumption of major projects, with the number of projects starting and resuming reaching 808, ranking first in Xinjiang. The ceremony was held at the construction site of the 600,000 tonne per year BDO plant and supporting facilities (Phase I) project of Xinjiang Zhongtai Jinhui Technology Co.

The project will commence construction in April 2022 and is scheduled for mechanical completion by the end of June 2023. After the completion of the project, it can achieve an average annual sales revenue of 7.5 billion yuan and create 1,000 new jobs, making a positive contribution to the social stability and high-quality economic development of Baicheng County.
It is reported that on January 29, the Department of Ecology and Environment of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region issued a public notice on the acceptance of environmental impact assessment documents for construction projects. The public announcement included the 300,000 tons per year BDO project of Xinjiang Zhongtai Jinhui Technology Co.

Construction Location: New District of Baicheng Industrial Park
Project Investment: Total investment is RMB 5115.66 million, including RMB 153.47 million of own funds and RMB 358.96 million of debt financing.
