Shiseido and Nars Expand Presence in India with Standalone Boutiques
Shiseido, the Japanese cosmetics giant, is continuing its expansion efforts in Asia, capitalizing on the growth potential of the Indian market by introducing standalone stores for its Shiseido Ginza Tokyo and Nars brands.

As the Indian beauty market garners significant attention from cosmetics brands seeking new avenues for growth, the Shiseido group is taking steps to accelerate its presence in the country, including the launch of Nars and the opening of the first standalone store for Shiseido Ginza Tokyo.
Shiseido Unveils Flagship Store in Mumbai
Situated at Inorbit Mall in the Malad suburb of Mumbai, Shiseido Ginza Tokyo's new 400-square-foot boutique provides Indian consumers with the opportunity to explore an extensive range of skincare and makeup products. This store is a result of a collaboration with Baccarose Perfumes & Beauty Products Pvt. Ltd., Shiseido's exclusive partner in India.

Ms. Kadambari Lakhani, Director of Baccarose Perfumes & Beauty Products, expressed her excitement, stating, "We are thrilled to witness the unveiling of Shiseido’s first standalone boutique store in India. This marks a momentous occasion not only for Shiseido but also for Baccarose as we continue our dedicated efforts to introduce premium international beauty brands to the Indian market."
Shiseido's Skin Visualizer, a touch-free device that instantly assesses and visualizes the current condition of the skin, will be available in the store. This assessment enables the provision of personalized beauty advice tailored to each individual.

Nars Makes an Entrance into India
Nars, a well-known makeup brand, will make its debut in India this October and will open its first boutique in New Delhi at Select CityWalk in November. The boutique boasts a striking three-sided storefront adorned with larger-than-life visuals captured by François Nars. It also features modern amenities, large format media showcasing stylized images and campaign films, and a chic design concept developed by Founder and Creative Director François Nars, in collaboration with Fabien Baron from the New York design firm Baron & Baron.
Nars has chosen to enter the Indian market due to the nation's increasing beauty consciousness. This includes consumers' growing investment in beauty products, a celebration of individuality in India, and a surging demand for premium beauty offerings.

Barbara Calcagni, President of Nars Cosmetics, Drunk Elephant, and Tory Burch Fragrances, shared her enthusiasm, saying, "Nars is thrilled to launch in India, a thriving market that holds immense potential for our brands. With a growing demand for premium cosmetics and passionate beauty consumers who are influenced by global beauty trends and self-care, Nars is excited to bring innovative and high-quality products that will empower our fans and enhance their self-expression."
Nars products in India will be available through a distribution partnership with Shoppers Stop. They can be found in select Shoppers Stop and Sephora stores across the country, as well as online at www.shoppersstop.com and sephora.nnnow.com.
