Indena SpA Showcases Nutraceutical Innovations at SupplySide West 2023
Las Vegas played host to SupplySide West 2023, where Indena SpA took the spotlight by showcasing a quartet of cutting-edge ingredients. The renowned company displayed an array of its nutraceutical offerings, emphasizing their commitment to aiding individuals in maintaining their health through preventive measures, lifestyle choices, and nutrition.

SupplySide West saw Indena feature Relissa (INCI: Not Provided), an ingredient that can be utilized for supporting emotional health and sleep.
Among the featured ingredients was Relissa (INCI: Not Provided), a product designed to support emotional well-being and sleep. This formulation harnesses the power of Melissa officinalis, a member of the mint family with a well-established reputation for its calming and stress-reducing properties. Relissa promotes restful sleep and relaxation.
Another standout was Berbevis (INCI: Not Provided), a metabolism-balancing quaternary ammonium salt derived from isoquinoline alkaloids. This ingredient boasts multifactorial health benefits, particularly in managing healthy blood levels. The company highlights its remarkable capacity to optimize insulin levels and significantly modulate blood sugar profiles, enhancing both blood glycaemia and insulin control.
Indena also presented Anthocran Phytosome (INCI: Not Provided), a cranberry extract meticulously characterized for its phytochemical content. Standardized in proanthocyanidins, this extract encapsulates the full spectrum of cranberry's natural polyphenols, including flavonols, anthocyanins, and phenolic acids. Intended primarily for women's health, it opens new possibilities for wellness.
The fourth ingredient on the spotlight was Phytosome (INCI: Phospholipids), a food-grade delivery system designed to boost the bioavailability of botanical compounds. Formulated with natural dietary components that already exist in the human body, this innovation serves as a vector, reducing the self-aggregation of natural compounds.
Francesca De Rensis, the Marketing Director of Indena SpA, emphasized the company's ongoing dedication to research, quality, and innovation. She stated, "Our botanical ingredients are intended to empower individuals to take control of their health through preventative measures, lifestyle choices, and nutrition. We are committed to delivering excellent supplements to our clients."
