Vivify's Acquisition of Access Ingredients Enhances Beauty Ingredient Portfolio
Vivify Specialty Ingredients, the parent company of New Jersey-based Sandream Specialties (acquired in 2018), has completed the acquisition of Access Ingredients, based in California. Access Ingredients specializes in surfactants and active ingredients designed for skincare, haircare, and Korean fermentation applications. With its technical laboratory and distribution center, Access further bolsters its capabilities. This acquisition significantly broadens Vivify's beauty and personal care ingredient portfolio, strengthening its position in the industry. The plan is to continue offering products under the Access Ingredients and Sandream Specialties brands through a unified approach to customers.

Brian Leen, CEO of Vivify, commented, "This acquisition reflects our commitment to the personal care industry and substantially increases our relevance as a provider of value-added solutions and high-quality ingredients to our customers. The combined product portfolio is expansive and addresses a very wide range of applications for skin and hair care as well as beauty products."
Trudi Leung, the founder of Access Ingredients, will continue to lead the company as its managing director. She expressed her pride in what Access has achieved and her excitement about collaborating with the Sandream and Vivify team to strengthen their industry position and fuel further growth.
Bobby Gruber, president of Sandream Specialties, sees this acquisition as a win-win for everyone involved. The complementary nature of their products and expanded geographic reach benefits Sandream and Access. Customers gain access to an extended product portfolio and enhanced technical and service support. Suppliers also benefit from a stronger industry channel partner. This combination presents numerous synergies and promises an exciting period of growth.
