The added value of China's Chemical Raw Materials and Products Manufacturing Industry Increased by 12.1% YoY in October
Statistics released by the China National Bureau of Statistics on November 15 showed that in October, the added value of industries above designated size actually increased by 4.6% year-on-year and 0.39% month-on-month. Among them, the added value of chemical raw materials and chemical products manufacturing industry increased by 12.1% year-on-year.
In terms of three categories, in October, the added value of the mining industry increased by 2.9% year-on-year, the manufacturing industry increased by 5.1%, and the electricity, heat, gas and water production and supply industry increased by 1.5%.
In terms of economic types, in October, the added value of state-controlled enterprises increased by 4.9% year-on-year; joint-stock enterprises increased by 5.6%; foreign, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan-invested enterprises increased by 0.9%; private enterprises increased by 3.9%.
In terms of industries, in October, the added value of 28 of the 41 major industries maintained year-on-year growth. Among them, the coal mining and washing industry increased by 3.3%, the oil and natural gas mining industry increased by 0.4%, the agricultural and sideline food processing industry increased by 0.7%, the wine, beverage and refined tea manufacturing industry increased by 3.4%, the textile industry increased by 2.0%, and the chemical raw materials and chemical products manufacturing industry increased by 12.1%, the non-metallic mineral products industry decreased by 1.1%, the ferrous metal smelting and rolling processing industry increased by 7.3%, the non-ferrous metal smelting and rolling processing industry increased by 12.5%, the general equipment manufacturing industry decreased by 0.1%,Special equipment manufacturing industry increased by 2.7%, automobile manufacturing industry increased by 10.8%, railway, shipbuilding, aerospace and other transportation equipment manufacturing industry increased by 9.6%, electrical machinery and equipment manufacturing industry increased by 9.8%, computer, communications and other electronic equipment manufacturing industry increased by 4.8%, electricity, heat production and supply industry growth of 0.9%.
In terms of products, in October, the output of 371 out of 620 products increased year-on-year. 113.71 million tons of steel, an increase of 3.0% year-on-year; 191.21 million tons of cement, a decrease of 4.0%; 6.55 million tons of ten non-ferrous metals, an increase of 8.2%; 2.82 million tons of ethylene, an increase of 5.6%; 2.779 million vehicles, an increase of 8.5%, of which there were 927,000 new energy vehicles, an increase of 27.9%; power generation was 704.4 billion kilowatt-hours, an increase of 5.2%; crude oil processing capacity was 63.93 million tons, an increase of 9.1%.
In October, the product sales rate of industrial enterprises was 97.4%, an increase of 0.4% year-on-year; the export delivery value of industrial enterprises was 1294.1 billion yuan, a nominal decrease of 0.5% year-on-year.
From January to October, the added value of industries above designated size increased by 4.1% year-on-year. Among them, the oil and natural gas extraction industry increased by 3.9%, and the chemical raw materials and chemical products manufacturing industry increased by 9.5%.
