Investment in China's Chemical Raw Materials and Chemical Products Manufacturing Industry Increased by 13.4% YoY from January to October
Statistics released by the National Bureau of Statistics of China on November 15 show that from January to October, the national fixed asset investment (excluding rural households) was 41,940.9 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 2.9%. Among them, the manufacturing industry of chemical raw materials and chemical products increased by 13.4% year-on-year.
In terms of industries, investment in the primary industry was 888.2 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 1.3%; investment in the secondary industry was 13,245.4 billion yuan, an increase of 9.0%; investment in the tertiary industry was 27,807.4 billion yuan, an increase of 0.4%.
In the secondary industry, industrial investment increased by 8.9% year-on-year. Among them, investment in the mining industry increased by 1.4%, manufacturing investment increased by 6.2%, and investment in electricity, heat, gas and water production and supply industries increased by 25.0%.
In the tertiary industry, infrastructure investment (excluding electricity, heat, gas and water production and supply industries) increased by 5.9% year-on-year. Among them, investment in the railway transportation industry increased by 24.8%, investment in the water conservancy management industry increased by 5.7%, investment in the road transportation industry remained the same as the same period last year, and investment in the public facilities management industry decreased by 2.2%.
In terms of regions, investment in the eastern region increased by 4.9% year-on-year, investment in the central region decreased by 0.1%, investment in the western region decreased by 0.5%, and investment in the northeastern region decreased by 3.5%.
In terms of registration types, the fixed asset investment of domestic enterprises increased by 3.2% year-on-year, the fixed asset investment of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan enterprises decreased by 3.1%, and the fixed asset investment of foreign enterprises increased by 0.9%.
