Nippon Presents Sustainable Plandool, Lusplan, Neosolue, Phytopresome, PrimeLipid Series

Nippon Fine Chemicals has unveiled an array of sustainable ingredients under its Plandool, Lusplan, Neosolue, Phytopresome, and PrimeLipid series, all of which comply with COSMOS and Ecocert standards.

Nippon Fine Chemicals recently highlighted its sustainable ingredients series of functional esters, oils, liposome precursors and more, as well as COSMOS and Ecocert compliant products.

Plandool Series:

The Plandool series introduces functional esters in paste form, facilitating the creation of clean beauty products. Plandool PM, a non-GMO, plant-derived sterol-type ester (INCI: Phytosteryl Macadamiate), serves as a humectant and conditioning agent, enhancing skin texture and offering anti-inflammatory properties. Noteworthy features include excellent moisture retention, a high refractive index, and gloss, forming a lamellar structure-like liquid crystal. Plandool-G (INCI: bis-Behenyl/Isostearyl/Phytosteryl Dimer Dilinoleyl Dimer Dilinoleate) and Plandool-H (INCI: Phytosteryl/Isostearyl/Cetyl/Stearyl/Behenyl Dimer Dilinoleate) complement the series.

Lusplan Series:

Lusplan, a 100% plant-derived, non-GMO liquid functional oils range, delivers high shine, gloss, and superior moisture retention. Lusplan DD-DA5 and DD-DA7 (INCIs: Dimer Dilinoleyl Dimer Dilinoleate) offer viscous polymer esters suitable for makeup and hair care, with DD-DA7 boasting higher molecular weight and adhesiveness. SR-DM-4 (INCI: Dimer Dilinoleyl Dimer Dilinoleate (and) Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride) finds applications in hair care, styling agents, makeup, and cleansing agents.

Neosolue Series:

Neosolue introduces sustainable materials such as Neosolue AquaS (INCI: Glycerin (and) Polyglyceryl-10 Eicosanedioate/Tetradecanedioate) and DiSM (INCI: Diisostearyl Malate). AquaS, an RSPO(MB) certified water-soluble ester, reduces greasiness, enhances moisture retention, and maintains transparency in water. DiSM, a low-viscosity liquid ester oil, offers high water-holding capacity and dissolving ability.

Phytopresome Series:

Phytopresome, a series of liposome precursors, ensures a comfortable skin texture, dispersing low-solubility oils like ceramides in aqueous formulations. Products include Phytopresome Cera-36 (INCI: Hydrogenated Lecithin (and) Phytosterols (and) Ceramide NP (and) Ceramide AP) and SB (INCI: Hydrogenated Lecithin (and) Phytosterols (and) Butylene Glycol).

PrimeLipid Series:

The PrimeLipid series, currently featuring PrimeLipid PI (INCI: Hydrogenated Lecithin (and) Lecithin (and) Phytosterols (and) Tocopherol), comprises phosphatidylinositol-rich phospholipids with multifunctional effects, including moisturizing, enhancing hyaluronic acid production, skin brightening, and antioxidation.

COSMOS and Ecocert Compliant:

Nippon presents COSMOS and Ecocert compliant products like Inulin SC (INCI: Inulin) and Tremoist-TP (INCI: Tremella Fuciformis Polysaccharide or Tremella Fuciformis (Mushroom) extract). Inulin SC, a plant-derived polysaccharide, provides moisture, reduces sensory stickiness/greasiness, improves texture without altering viscosity, and creates dense bubbles. Tremoist-TP acts as an antioxidant and moisturizing agent, chemically resembling hyaluronic acid, extracted from the Silver Ear mushroom's edible fruit bodies.
