In a recent development outlined in the Official Journal of the European Union, the European Commission has enacted Regulation (EU) No. 2023/2632 on November 28, 2023. This regulation greenlights the use of Corynebacterium stasis KCCM 80235 in adherence to Regulation (EC) No 1831/2003 of the European Parliament and of the Council. Specifically, it approves the incorporation of Disodium 5'-inosinate as a feed additive for all animals.


According to the stipulations outlined in the accompanying document, this additive receives authorization within the category of "sensory additives" and falls under the functional group of "flavoring compounds." The approved period for this authorization extends until December 18, 2033. The enacted regulations come into effect on the twentieth day following their official promulgation.
