With the acquisition of Agro-K, Rovensa generated revenues of over €800 million
Rovensa Group, a leader in sustainable agricultural inputs, has announced the acquisition of Agro-K, a leading US developer of biostimulants. Agro-K will be gradually integrated into Rovensa Next, the agricultural biological solutions business unit of the Rovensa Group
Rovensa develops, manufactures and distributes innovative products for sustainable agriculture. With more than 3,000 employees worldwide and more than 45 research and development centers and laboratories, the company serves growers in 90 countries with innovative technologies to protect and improve soil, the environment and human health. Its products help to promote the quality of agricultural products and the efficiency of resource use in agricultural production.
Founded in 1976 in Minneapolis, USA, Agro-K has been at the forefront of sustainable agriculture through the scientific development of a wide range of biostimulants and specialty fertilizer products. This acquisition enables Rovensa Next to position itself in the United States, an important strategic growth market, to provide the market with high quality complementary biostimulants and its sales team. According to the company, the United States, the world's largest market for biological solutions and the fastest growing region for biostimulants, plays a key role in Rovensa Next's expansion strategy.

It is reported that after the acquisition of Agro-K, Rovensa’s revenue exceeds 800 million euros.
