Fill in the Gaps! South Korean Invested Enterprises Plan to Invest 1.2 Billion Yuan in High-End New Antifouling Coating Projects in China
Recently, the 2023 Dongying City Investment Project Centralized Signing Ceremony was held in Shanghai. The "High-End Resin and New Environmentally Friendly Antifouling Coating Project" was successfully signed at the meeting. The project plans to invest 600 million yuan in domestic investment and 90 million US dollars in foreign investment (approximately 644 million yuan).
The project mainly relies on the advanced technology and equipment of South Korea's EcoWave Co., Ltd. to produce silane modified resins to fill the gaps in China's high-end resins and environmental protection anti-fouling coatings, rapidly improve the application of high-end resins in China and the technical level of anti-fouling coatings, shorten the huge gap with the international advanced level, and fully improve the rapid development of the domestic coating industry.
From October 12th to 13th, Park Daoxun (박도순), project investment representative of EcoWave Co., Ltd. of South Korea, Jin Junying, chairman of Jinshan Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., and other enterprise representatives went to Yishui Economic Development Zone, Shandong, to conduct an on-site inspection on the high-end resin material environmentally friendly marine coating project , to discuss exchanges and cooperation matters. The Korean businessmen said that Yishui County has a beautiful environment, convenient transportation, fast economic development and broad prospects. They will further deepen exchanges with Yishui Economic Development Zone, negotiate and connect relevant cooperation matters, and reach cooperation on relevant projects as soon as possible.
South Korea EcoWave Co., Ltd. is located in Busan Metropolitan City South District. It mainly produces high-end resins and environmentally friendly antifouling coatings. The investment project this time is environmentally friendly coatings for marine engineering. The downstream markets are offshore shipyards, nuclear power plants, offshore wind power, semiconductor and other manufacturing companies. . Utilizing the company's unique "self-polishing antifouling coating" and other patented technologies, it can effectively solve the problem that the parts below the water surface of ships and offshore equipment are susceptible to shellfish adhesion and proliferation, and achieve environmental protection, high efficiency, high technological content and added value. Some raw materials can be provided by enterprises in the park, which is a chain-strengthening and chain-repairing project.
