DSM launches vegan fish flavor, the raw material comes from algae oil
Recently, DSM took the lead in launching a new vegan fish flavor edible flavor solution (Maximor Fish YE), which is allergen-free and extracted from algae oil.
Maxavor Fish YE's innovative solutions can help food manufacturers provide authentic fish flavors and textures in various fish and plant-based fish replacement applications.
Maxavor Fish YE offers two flavors, Maxavor Fish M YE and Maxavor Fish W YE, which can imitate the meat quality, taste and flavor of different fish. One is suitable for dark fish with higher fat content, and the other is suitable for white fish with fresher, lighter taste and fatter meat.
Food manufacturers can add Maxavor Fish YE in the process of mixing and drying raw materials. This flavor has a low salt content, which can help manufacturers flexibly adjust the sodium content and customize the desired taste and texture without compromising the nutritional content of the product. The flavor is not only suitable for a variety of products, but also can mask the strong peculiar smell commonly found in vegetable protein.
Verschelling, Director of Business Development and Innovation at DSM, said: "As part of DSM's plant-based solutions/Maxavor® series of vegan flavors, this unique flavor derived from algae oil is bound to help our customers create more delicious and delicious flavors. Standard-friendly fish and plant-based fish substitutes can meet the different preferences of consumers, thereby combating overfishing and providing support for the UN Sustainable Development Goal 14'Underwater Life'."
