DVA Agro opens its first plant in Brazil and a global R&D center dedicated to high-performance agricultural additives

DVA Agro, a German multinational company, recently announced that its first manufacturing plant and global R&D center in Sao Paulo State, Brazil, has been completed, the new plant mainly produces the ADYUVIA series of foliar and soil additives and the SPCHEM series of specialty chemicals (for the development of other formulations).

The project, with a total investment of nearly 12 million Brazilian Reals (about $2.416 million), covers an area of more than 2,000 square meters. The plant is designed to have an annual capacity of approximately 10 million performance enhancing agricultural additives, mainly to meet the demand in Latin America for the DVA Agro's INCENTIA series of plant nutrients and biostimulants. DVA Agro chose Brazil as the location for the new plant because it is a major strategic market and has better control over intellectual property.

DVA Agro said that the completion of the project is of great significance to strengthen its own strength and expand its commercial footprint, and it plans to double its size by 2028. In the past seven years, DVA Agro has continuously increased its investment in the research and development of agricultural additives and biological stimulants, and has applied for about 10 innovative patents every year. At present, the company has more than 20 kinds of formulation products, most of which have patented technology and high performance.

In addition, DVA Agro has production and R&D facilities for other agrochemicals and biologics in Argentina, Spain and elsewhere.
