Us ExcelAg and Caribbean Chemicals join forces to promote sustainable agriculture in the Caribbean

On February 19, 2024, US agrochemical company ExcelAg and Caribbean Chemicals, a distributor of agricultural materials in the Caribbean, announced a strategic partnership aimed at providing more innovative, environmentally friendly growing solutions to enhance the sustainability of Caribbean agriculture.

Through the partnership, ExcelAg's plant nutrition and protection products will enter the Caribbean market, expanding its business presence in the region; Caribbean Chemicals has access to ExcelAg's biopesticides, biostimulants and other green solutions to further enrich its green product portfolio.

ExcelAg's vice President of Global Sales and operations said the partnership with Caribbean Chemicals helps bring its innovative plant protection technology to the Caribbean, supporting local farmers to improve crop quality and yield. As a leader in organic solutions, ExcelAg is committed to helping farmers reduce their chemical use.

The managing director of Caribbean Chemicals also has high hopes for the alliance. The company already has nearly 50% green products, and the partnership with ExcelAg will further enrich the product line, providing Caribbean farmers with an important means to control major pests and increase production.
