Chemplast Sanmar (India) has signed a fourth agrochemical contract for intermediate production for a period of 5 years
The Custom Chemicals division of Chemplast India has signed a Letter of intent with a key player in the global agrochemicals sector. Under the agreement, Chemoplast will produce an advanced intermediate for the new active ingredient for a period of five years, with commercial availability expected from 2025.
Chemplast plans to manufacture this product in its new multifunctional production area, which is expected to be officially commissioned in the first quarter of fiscal 2025. This is the fourth letter of intent signed by Chemplast since the expansion of the custom Chemicals division, which fully demonstrates its expertise in the agrochemical field.
Chemplast's Custom Chemicals division is led by a team of experienced chemists and engineers focused on the production of advanced intermediates and active ingredients. To meet the needs of different customers, Chemplast has made significant investments in production blocks, pilot plants and research and development facilities, equipped with the most advanced technologies.
In May 2023, Chemplast signed a letter of intent with a global agrochemical company to produce an advanced intermediate for a period of five years. In July, Chemplast was selected to produce a new active ingredient for a global agrochemical company; In November, Chemplast again signed a five-year letter of intent with a global agrochemical company to produce a new active ingredient, further expanding its reach in the agrochemical sector.
This strategic partnership of Chemplast Sanmar Limited not only demonstrates the company's expertise in the field of agrochemicals, but also brings new growth drivers to the global agrochemical industry. With the commissioning of new production areas and the commercialization of new active ingredients, Chemplast is expected to continue to expand its presence in the global agrochemical market in the coming years.
