Clarins Debuts AI-Powered Customer Care Bot Clara
Clarins now offers Clara, a customer service bot that users can use to receive immediate responses to urgent inquiries when customer service is closed.
The bot also helps optimize the availability of customer service agents during the day, allowing them to quickly respond to more complex inquiries that conversational bots cannot handle.
Clara is powered by Microsoft’s secure, enterprise-grade Azure OpenAI service, a true milestone for the premium beauty industry. Unlike traditional bots, Clara integrates natural language interaction to ensure better understanding and resolution of customer requests.
Clarins CEO Jonathan Zrihen said:"We are proud to launch Clara, a groundbreaking customer service bot powered by the cutting-edge generative artificial intelligence capabilities of Microsoft Azure OpenAI service. This is an important milestone for Clarins as we continue to set standards in the industry. Clara is designed to meet and exceed our customers' complex expectations by delivering customized, instant responses at all times, an innovation that underscores our commitment to combining human expertise with the latest technology. State-of-the-art technology designed to enhance the beauty experience of every Clarins customer we serve."
Clarins is currently testing multiple variations of the bot to evaluate and optimize the overall customer experience before implementing Clara in other parts of the world.
The bot is now live on the Clarins US website. It leverages proprietary Clarins data, including content from the Clarins website, a list of predefined questions and answers for customer service, and product training content from beauty coaches.
