Eckart Launches Syncrystal Garnet High-Chroma Red, Blue Base Pigment
Eckart’s latest product, Syncrystal Garnet, contains synthetic fluorphlogopite, titanium dioxide, iron oxide, ferric ferrocyanide, tin oxide, and has a vivid red and blue base color, and is hailed as the perfect starting pigment for creating a variety of red and purple shades.
“Our new product fills the gap with more blue and less yellow to achieve a scarlet effect,” the company reports.
According to the company, Syncrystal Garnet has excellent brightness and hiding power, impressive chroma and a noticeable pearlescent effect. Based on synthetic fluorphlogopite flakes, the c-amine-free pigment is said to have excellent skin feel and high color purity, especially compared to natural mica-based pigments.
Syncrystal Garnet complies with European cosmetic regulations and the U.S. government’s 21 CFR for all cosmetic uses. The product is also listed with the NMPA.
