Johnson & Johnson Welcomes New Leader for Medical Technology Division in China
In the day on July 15, 2023, the global well-known company officially announced an important appointments. The Company has appointed Mintao Zhou to the position of President of its Medical Technologies China Region, effective July 25, 2024. Zhou Mintao, will mainly be responsible for the Johnson & Johnson medical science and technology in China, the important market of the overall operation and management, medical science and technology to the company and the chairman of the asia-pacific Vishnu Karla report to work. In addition, he will be a core member of the Johnson & Johnson Medical Technologies Asia Pacific leadership team.
Mintao Zhou has an outstanding background. He graduated from Fudan University in 1990 with a Bachelor's degree in biochemistry and an MBA. He in the field of health care has more than 30 years of rich experience, which made him for the deep understanding of the industry, but also accumulated rich experience in management level.
Since Johnson & Johnson's Medical technology business entered the Chinese market in 1994, the company has been focusing on the development of key areas such as surgery, orthopedics and cardiovascular. After Zhou Mintao join, China has become a Johnson & Johnson medical science and technology, the world's second largest market, it also shows the importance of the Chinese market for the company.
Faces many uncertain factors in the global market to increase, the increasingly fierce competition in the industry at present, the company is actively adjust their market strategy and explore new business model, including digital transformation, to promote the competitiveness of the market in China.
