ApiotiX Technologies’ standardized propolis extract shows retinol-level anti-aging benefits
ApiotiX Technologies, a Croatia-based biotech R&D company, has published a clinical study in the Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology investigating the anti-wrinkle benefits of its patented phenolic acids polymer extract.
“Our evidence-based solution has clear efficacy, making PAPE a promising addition to skincare. In vitro studies have shown that PAPE modulates inflammatory and tissue remodeling biomarkers, which has now been clearly demonstrated in clinical trial results. Overall, these findings provide comparable efficacy to retinol, but with an excellent safety profile.”
In a 28-day clinical study involving 40 female participants, PAPE reduced wrinkles by up to 34% after four weeks of twice-daily use. Participants reported high satisfaction, with 90% willing to continue use, and comprehensive dermatological evaluations confirmed its excellent skin tolerability.
ApiotiX Technologies utilizes patented technology to develop pharmaceutical-grade extracts with powerful biological properties. The extracts are derived from propolis, a natural bee product, providing a unique and natural solution for skin care and anti-aging products.
