DELTA Coatings to build new polyurea production facility in Dubai
DELTA Coatings has unveiled plans to build a new state-of-the-art headquarters and manufacturing facility in Dubai Industrial City (DIC). The environmentally friendly facility will be powered in part by renewable energy. It includes a large solar farm on the roof of the facility. This will drive the company towards its sustainability and decarbonization goals.
DELTA Coatings is a liquid coatings and polyurea manufacturer. DELTA Coatings specializes in providing superior waterproofing and protective coating solutions for lagoons and water parks, residential and commercial projects, and large desalination, reservoirs and wastewater treatment plants. DELTA Coatings also manufactures and supplies customized anti-corrosion, anti-wear and anti-impact solutions.
Belvin Marx, General Manager of DELTA Coatings, said: “Our new global headquarters and manufacturing facility in Dubai represents a positive step forward for our company. Our new facility will enable us to demonstrate the many benefits of polyurea-based liquid coatings, lining and membrane solutions, and waterproofing systems to our customers and a wider range of applicators.”
“As part of DELTA Coatings’ five-year strategic growth plan, it will also provide a fitting and inspiring home for our growing team of local and international experts. This development is a significant milestone in DELTA Coatings’ history since its inception over 20 years ago and builds on the growing awareness and acceptance of polyurea-based protective coating products and waterproofing solutions around the world. This is an exciting time for DELTA Coatings and our industry as a whole.”
According to Marx, highlights of the facility include a range of new features: Modern, open-plan office facilities to support DELTA Coatings’ growing team of international experts and partners. Visiting customers can expect the new headquarters space to be a space for innovation and discovery. It showcases the power of polyurea and the dynamic benefits of polyurea-based linings, membranes and coating solutions and waterproofing systems. Triple manufacturing capacity and double warehouse space, which can be expanded to meet future growth and growing demand for DELTA Coatings’ expanding DELTAShield product range.
A cutting-edge laboratory focused on developing new, world-class products. This ensures that DELTA Coatings is able to fully customize polyurea-based solutions and systems to regional climate conditions as well as specific customer requirements, always at the forefront of industry innovation. A facility dedicated to training the next generation of professional spray applicators. It will also host new equipment demonstrations and provide rapid maintenance and repairs for customers’ spray equipment. The warehouse and distribution center can be electronically controlled to ensure timely delivery and improve operational efficiency.
DELTA Coatings plans to move into the new facility in the first half of 2025. This marks an important milestone in the company’s commitment to regional and global growth.
