Recently, the new fungicide Metrafenone was added to three new registered crops in China - wheat, grape and cucumber, bringing the number of registered crops to five.
Among them, 42% of BASF Europe's Metrafenone SC products were approved for expansion of registration, and the new registered crops and control objects were wheat powdery mildew and grape powdery mildew. For the prevention and treatment of wheat powdery mildew, it is recommended that before or at the beginning of the disease, 10 ~ 20 ml/mu dose, 30 ~ 60 kg of water, uniform spray application once, depending on the disease, it can be applied once every 7 ~ 10 days, and the crop can be used up to 2 times per season, and the safety interval is 35 days. For the prevention and treatment of grape powdery mildew, it is recommended to spray it once with 2000-3000 times diluent before or at the beginning of the disease. Depending on the disease, it can be applied once or twice at an interval of 7-10 days, and it can be used up to 3 times per season with a safe interval of 10 days. This is the first time that Metrafenone has been registered on Chinese wheat and grapes. The original registered crops and control objects of this product are powdery mildew of bitter melon and pea.
In addition, Foshan BrighyMart CropScience applied for 30% Metrafenone · Ethirimol suspension products (Metrafenone 10%+ Ethirimol 20%, mass concentration 325 g/l. The registered crop and control object is cucumber powdery mildew. It is recommended to spray it once at a dose of 40 ~ 60 ml/mu with 45 ~ 83 kg of water before or at the beginning of the disease. Depending on the disease, it can be applied once or twice at an interval of 7 ~ 10 days, and it can be used up to 3 times per season. Safety interval 2 days. This is the first time that Metrafenone has been registered on Chinese cucumbers, and it is also the first Metrafenone product registered by domestic enterprises in China.
GB 2763-2021 stipulates that Metrafenone is used in wheat, wheat whole powder, melon vegetables (including bitter melon, The MRLS for cucumbers (excluding cucumber, pickling cucumber), cucumbers, pickling cucumber, peas, grapes and raisins are 0.06, 0.08, 0.5, 0.2, 0.2, 0.05, 5 and 20 mg/kg, respectively (all provisional limits).
