Tianjin Petrochemical’s 200,000-ton polypropylene plant was successfully started up at one time
After more than two years of construction, on the afternoon of April 18, Tianjin Petrochemical's product structure adjustment and oil quality upgrading and transformation supporting project - a 200,000-ton/year polypropylene plant successfully started up and produced qualified products.
The 200,000-ton/year polypropylene plant adopts the process technology based on the domestically produced third-generation circular pipe polypropylene technology, and its completion and commissioning marks the complete completion of the project group of Tianjin Petrochemical Corporation, which will enable Tianjin Petrochemical to establish an integrated refining and chemical industry in the Bohai Sea as soon as possible. The chemical industry base has laid a solid foundation; at the same time, it will also meet the deep processing needs of propylene products that are increased by the refining upgrade project, and improve the level of the polyolefin industry chain.
It is understood that as the plant is completed and put into production, Tianjin Petrochemical’s Olefin Department will optimize and refine the product structure of the two sets of equipment on the basis of the original 60,000-ton/year polypropylene plant, increase the output of high value-added products, and enrich the types of new brands. Promote the two sets of devices to maximize benefits and improve market competitiveness. At present, operators are adjusting various process parameters to ensure that the device passes the "run-in period" as soon as possible and reaches the best operating state.
