Solabia acquires majority stake in PolymerExpert
Solabia announces that it has acquired a majority stake in PolymerExpert, further strengthening its position in the cosmetics and healthcare markets.
This acquisition reflects the Group’s strategy to strengthen its activities in the dynamic cosmetics market, enabling Solabia to offer its customers a wider range of value-added ingredients. It will also help the Group to consolidate its position in the healthcare sector, providing new development opportunities in this market with high potential.
PolmerExpert founder Marc Dolatkhani retains a minority stake in PolymerExpert and will continue to serve as PolymerExpert’s CEO.
Founded in 2000 by Marc Dolatkhani and headquartered in Pessac, Gironde, France, PolymerExpert is an innovative company specializing in the development and marketing of high-tech polymers. The company offers a range of high-value products for the cosmetics (using high-performance polymers of natural origin for applications such as skin care, sun protection and color cosmetics) and healthcare markets (for implantable and non-implantable ophthalmic and medical devices). PolymerExpert has an international presence and controls the entire value chain from R&D to production, complying with the strictest ISO standards and phytochemical concepts.
Solabia is renowned in the beauty and healthcare markets with a broad portfolio of high-quality active and functional ingredients that combine naturalness with proven efficacy.
