Kobayashi Pharmaceutical Health Products Contain Deadly Toxins, Official Confirmation of Health Crisis on September 18, 2024!
On September 18, 2024, according to Japanese media reports, the Japanese Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare issued a statement in response to consumer health problems caused by health products containing monaskoji ingredients produced by Kobayashi Pharmaceutical Company, confirming that the "puberulic acid" detected in the problematic raw materials was the direct cause of health damage. Puberulinic acid is a natural compound produced by penicillium.
Kobayashi Pharmaceutical had previously reported to the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare that its plant in Osaka had found "puberulinic acid" in monaskoji raw material produced in September last year.
