The EU Imposes Anti-dumping Duties of 53.1% to 68.4% on China's Alkyl Phosphates, with the Implicated Products Facing Devastating Consequences!
A few days ago, the European Commission officially issued a notice, announcing that since September 12, the implementation of anti-dumping final ruling on Alkyl Phosphate Esters produced in China, and will impose anti-dumping duties on the products involved, the tax rate range between 53.1% and 68.4%. Please refer to the attached table for specific tax rates. The ruling relates to EU Commodity Code (CN) ex 2919 90 00 (TARIC code 2919 90 00 50 and 2919 90 00 65 respectively) and 3824 99 92 (TARIC code 3824 99 92 38). The anti-dumping investigation period in this case is from July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023, while the injury investigation period is from January 1, 2019 to the conclusion of the anti-dumping investigation. This announcement shall take effect the day after the date of publication.
Retroactive to August 11, 2023, the European Commission has initiated an anti-dumping investigation procedure against alkyl phosphate originating in China. Subsequently, on April 9, 2024, the European Commission issued a preliminary anti-dumping ruling in this case.
