The 14th Five-Year Development Plan for Petroleum and Chemical Industry in Zhejiang Province announced by the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Economy and Information Technology proposes that by 2025, petroleum and chemical enterprises above designated size in Zhejiang Province will achieve a total output value of 1.8 trillion yuan and a total scale Strive to enter the top three in the country, with an annual oil refining capacity of over 100 million tons, an olefin production capacity of 15 million tons, and an aromatics production capacity of 14 million tons. Create one world-class industrial cluster with an annual output value of RMB 100 billion; cultivate 6 green petrochemical industrial parks with an annual output value of over RMB 100 billion.
According to the "Plan", Ningbo's petrochemical industry (including Zhoushan Development Zone) has been built into the country's largest green petrochemical industry base. Hangzhou Bay Shangyu Economic Development Zone has been built into a world-class fine chemical industrial park. Jiaxing and Quzhou have become internationally renowned new material industry bases. The construction level of 52 chemical parks (gathering areas) has been significantly improved; 8 chemical parks have entered the ranks of national key development parks, and new chemical projects have entered the park for development.
It is reported that as of the end of 2020, Zhejiang Province has a total of 4,679 petroleum and chemical industrial enterprises (including rubber and plastic processing enterprises), achieving a total industrial output value of 1,045.6 billion yuan, ranking fourth in all provinces and cities in the country, with a profit of 90.9 billion yuan. , An average annual growth rate of 11.1%. It has formed an annual production capacity of 53 million tons of refined oil, 7 million tons of olefins (ethylene, propylene) and 6.4 million tons of PX.
