LG Chem obtains ISCC Plus certification
Recently, LG Chem announced that the company's Bio-balanced products produced from waste edible oil, palm oil and other renewable tree planting materials have obtained the European ISCC Plus certification. This time, LG Chem has a total of 9 Bio-balanced products including super absorbent resin (SAP), polyolefin (PO), polycarbonate (PC) and other products that have obtained this certification. These raw materials are used in diapers, IT, home appliances, automotive materials, etc.
LG Chem said that ISCC certification is an international certification that complies with the European Union's Renewable Energy Directive. More than 130 environmental protection raw material manufacturers, NGOs, and research institutions have joined ISCC, and with its transparent review standards and strict certification procedures, it has become the most trustworthy organization in the field of environmental certification. After obtaining the certification, from the raw materials of related products to the entire value chain system of production, procurement, and sales, LG Chem has become the first and most ISCC Plus certification company in Korea. This will enhance customers' trust in environmentally friendly biological products and accelerate LG Chem's pace of opening up the environmentally friendly biological products market.
