German polyurethane giant Pearl Group builds new plant in Vietnam
Pearl Group, a global leader in polyurethane (PU) insulation solutions and other polyurethane applications, has completed construction of a new plant in Dong Nai Province, Vietnam, its fifth production plant.
This strategic expansion is a major milestone in Pearl Group's global growth and reinforces its commitment to serving Southeast Asia with innovative products and advanced technologies. In Vietnam's industrial landscape, which has undergone significant changes, Pearl Group is ready to provide best-in-class solutions with polyurethane systems to help Vietnamese industry achieve greater efficiency and sustainability.
Driven by the region's strong growth prospects and increasing demand for high-quality materials, Pearl Group has chosen Vietnam as the center of its Southeast Asian business. Vietnam's dynamic market environment, coupled with its strategic location and business-friendly policies, makes it an ideal base to enter neighboring markets such as Thailand, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines and Australia, with the potential to supply South Korea and Japan in the future. This expansion is also in line with Pearl Group's long-term vision to become a global leader in polyurethane systems.
"We believe in the potential of Vietnam and the wider Southeast Asia region," said Martin Kruczinna, CEO of Pearl Group. "While some global players are retreating, Pearl Group is determined to invest in this dynamic region. By producing high-quality products locally and providing tailored technical support, the new plant will enable us to better serve our customers while optimizing their performance and profitability."
Conveniently located in Dong Nai Province, Pearl Group's new plant has advanced mixing capabilities as well as prepolymer production capabilities to produce a wide range of polyol formulations to meet the growing needs of industries such as construction, home appliances, sheet metal, footwear, flexible packaging and polyurea.
Following the opening of the fourth production site in Saudi Arabia in November 2023, the establishment of this plant in Vietnam further strengthens Pearl Group's global expansion strategy PearlX2. Pearl Group is committed to becoming a global leader in polyurethane systems and focuses on being close to customers through regional production.
