China’s S’Young acquires RéVive Skincare

ECHEMI 2024-10-18

China’s S’Young Group has become the new owner of luxury, science-forward brand RéVive Skincare, with the conglomerate acquiring the US skincare company from Tengram Capital Partners, which had owned the brand since 2017, when it acquired the 1997 brand from Shiseido.

Developed by plastic and reconstructive surgeon Dr. Gregory Bays Brown, RéVive products are based on the brand’s Bio-Renewal technology, contain three key peptides, and are inspired by Nobel Prize-winning science used to treat burn victims.

RéVive’s product line includes the flagship Moisture Renewal Night Remodeling Cream, which works with the body’s biological clock to optimize the skin’s repair mechanisms during sleep. Another bestseller is the Rescue Elixir anti-aging oil, which combines Bio-Renewal technology with a self-moisturizing complex.

RéVive Skincare CEO Elana Drell Szyfer said Brown and the brand management team will continue in their current roles and the company will remain an independent operation.

The sale of RéVive comes just weeks after Tengram sold its HRB Brands business to Sodalis Group.
