Chartek®: The Legendary Fireproof Coating from the Apollo Program to Antarctica

As the flagship product of international paint, its origin can be traced back to the Apollo moon landing program, and has been applied in the Antarctic research station project. In 1969, Chartek® technology was applied to the heat shield of the reentry module of NASA's Apollo moon program, ensuring the safety of astronauts to and from the moon with its superior fire resistance. Chartek® played an integral role as a guardian of the Apollo Moon landing program, an important milestone in human history.
On the harsh white continent of Antarctica, the dry and windy conditions are prone to fires. The application of Chartek® technology "Halley VI" Antarctic research station, as if wearing a fireproof coat, even in the event of a fire, it can protect the station's steel structure from collapse, for scientific personnel to gain valuable escape time, and build a safety barrier to reduce the loss of fire.
