Safic-Alcan acquires majority stake in Avees Biocos
Safic-Alcan, a major specialty chemicals distributor, has announced that it has acquired a majority stake in Avees Biocos Private Limited, a leading personal care chemicals distributor in India.
Avees Biocos was established in 2007 and laid the foundation as the perfect partner to help source advanced technology ingredients and help formulate unique cosmetic products.
Avees offers products such as biopolymers, preservatives, emollients, sensory modulators, UV filters, skin and hair care active ingredients, emulsifiers, fragrances and functional polymers. Headquartered in Gurgaon, Avees relies on a state-of-the-art innovation center to develop unique formulation solutions for its customers.
