Safic-Alcan to distribute Carbon Waters’ graphene dispersions
Safic-Alcan announces a new distribution partnership with Carbon Waters, an innovative French startup focused on advanced sustainable additives. The strategic alliance will provide customers in Italy, Spain, the UK and Ireland with Graph'Up Oxi, a high-performance graphene dispersion.
The addition of Graph'Up Oxi products to the Safic-Alcan portfolio is in line with its commitment to providing environmentally friendly solutions without compromising performance. These graphene-based dispersions have been carefully developed for use in solvent-borne and water-borne anti-corrosion coating formulations.
Thanks to the exceptional properties of graphene, Graph'Up Oxi ensures excellent corrosion protection, providing longer-lasting durability in the harshest environments. These products also offer strong mechanical strength, high electrical conductivity and excellent barrier properties, making them ideal for a range of industrial applications requiring top-level anti-corrosion performance.
Jean-Marie Schmuck, Business Development Director, CASE and Industrial Specialties at Safic-Alcan, commented: “We are delighted to be working with Carbon Waters. Their graphene dispersion technology perfectly complements our environmentally friendly product range and enhances our ability to provide customers in the region with state-of-the-art anti-corrosion solutions.”
“Graph’Up Oxi is a major advancement in protective coatings, enabling coatings manufacturers to meet the growing demand for coatings that stand the test of time in harsh conditions.”
Nicolas Castet, COO of Carbon Waters, said: “We are excited to enter into this partnership, which will allow us to continue the commercial development of Graph’Up Oxi in new key markets in Europe, thanks to the Safic Alcan team’s expertise and skills in the distribution and marketing of high value-added additives.”
