Eternis Fine Chemicals Completes Acquisition of Sharon Personal Care
Eternis Fine Chemicals Ltd announces that it has completed the acquisition of 100% of Sharon Personal Care, a company with innovative laboratories and manufacturing capabilities in Italy and Israel, distribution bases in the United States, Italy, Germany and France, and a global distribution network.
With this strategic move, Eternis further expands its global footprint, leveraging a multi-location research laboratory, manufacturing and distribution platform to continue to better serve its customers. This acquisition marks a major step towards diversifying its products, expanding its portfolio into the growing personal care segment, and meeting today’s evolving needs.
“On behalf of the Eternis team, I am excited to successfully complete another important milestone in our growth journey with another overseas acquisition as we head into 2025,” said Mr. Rajen Mariwala, Managing Director of Eternis.
Mr. Wilfrid Gambade, CEO of Eternis, added: “We are delighted to welcome Sharon PC to our family. The addition of this large pure premium manufacturer of personal care strengthens our business and brings many strategic advantages. Sharon PC’s commitment to sustainability, innovation and quality is perfectly aligned with our vision to provide products that not only make people feel good but also reflect our values.”
“This acquisition will further strengthen our position in Europe and the US, allowing us to offer our customers products in new market segments through these sites, stocking centers and offices. The combined product portfolio will provide us with a unique advantage for further growth. In addition, our DNA of ‘Eternally Agile and Forever Customer Centric’ is also a key tenet of Sharon PC’s entrepreneurial ethos. In many ways, it is a perfect fit.”
Naama Eylon, CEO of Sharon PC Ms. said: "I am seeing very positive results as we build on this new partnership. Our combined manufacturing and distribution footprint in India, Europe, Asia and the US will provide a strong supply chain. In addition, this partnership will enable us to sell personal care products into the Asia Pacific region, ensuring that more customers can experience the brand's high quality and innovative products. I am very excited about our future. Personally, as a leader, I am excited to see exciting times ahead as we join and continue to grow and innovate."
Sharon PC to join the Eternis model. Both business units will cater to their distinct but adjacent fragrance and cosmetic/personal care application markets. As the life-enriching personal care space continues to experience rapid growth, fueled by changes in consumer preferences and an increased focus on wellness and self-care, the group aims to position itself through innovation to anticipate future consumer needs.
With the added advantage of expanded resources to drive further growth, Sharon PC will maintain the brand name of its product lines but adopt a revised identity incorporating elements of Eternis.
