Automotive Color & Supply Acquires Texas-based Paint Works

Automotive Color & Supply (ACS), a portfolio company of WILsquare Capital and an automotive and industrial coatings and supply distributor headquartered in Fort Wayne, Indiana, has acquired Paint Works. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Paint Works, headquartered in Tyler, Texas, is an automotive and industrial coatings distributor founded by Chad Neal with operations in East Texas, North Texas, South Arkansas and North Louisiana.

ACS said the acquisition expands the company’s presence and customer service capabilities in the South, provides a broader platform to meet customer needs, and strengthens partnerships with suppliers in various regions.

ACS said it intends to continue operating the Paint Works divisions using the existing Paint Works logo and brand name.
