On February 5, Sinopec successfully completed the deployment of DeepSeek within a domestically developed computing environment and began a phased internal rollout. This implementation not only provides robust technical support for the company's intelligent transformation but also offers valuable insights for the application of artificial intelligence technologies in the industrial sector, driving innovation and efficiency.

During the deployment, Sinopec utilized advanced inference acceleration technology, resulting in nearly a 100% increase in the efficiency of large model inference calculations, significantly boosting the model's application capabilities. To assess the adaptability of DeepSeek-R1 to the petrochemical industry, Sinopec compiled the "Petrochemical Industry Large Model Testing Questionnaire (Inference Edition)" and conducted comprehensive testing of the model.

Test results indicated that DeepSeek-R1 demonstrated a strong understanding of petrochemical industry knowledge, achieving a high overall accuracy in responses. Additionally, Sinopec leveraged the DeepSeek model for intelligent analysis of hundreds of industry standards and technical specifications, exploring the construction of high-quality industry datasets. The tests showed that DeepSeek performed well in recognizing mathematical formulas, chemical structures, and professional charts specific to the petrochemical field, effectively supporting industry dataset development and model training.

Moving forward, Sinopec plans to enhance its artificial intelligence technology framework, improving the training quality of large models in the petrochemical sector to achieve deeper integration of inference and industry knowledge. The company will also fully utilize the high-quality programming capabilities of the DeepSeek model to enhance the efficiency of professional models in areas such as seismic data processing, reservoir development optimization, chemical product research and development, and customer service, further promoting the industry's transition towards intelligent and digital transformation.
