Urea collectively soared! More than 2500 yuan! The highest price in history!
Urea prices in some parts of the country have continued to increase since the weekend. Most companies have abundant pending orders, smooth shipments, no inventory pressure, and there are still manufacturers planning maintenance in the near future. It is difficult to improve the shortage of local supply, and the willingness of urea manufacturers to keep prices is still relatively strong.
In terms of demand, agricultural demand in the Northeast, Southwest, and Northwest regions continued to follow up to support the local market. The purchase of industrial plates and compound fertilizers has gradually been cautious, and small orders have been replenishment.
Internationally, the Indian RCF urea bidding will be opened on the 25th, and the purchase quantity and bid price will affect the next domestic market trend. It is expected that the domestic urea market will maintain a high level in the short term.
In terms of futures: the opening price of the main urea contract (UR2107) on May 21st was 2,175.0000 yuan, and the closing price was 2294.000 yuan, an increase of 12.0000 yuan from the previous trading day, the increase/decrease rate was (0.61)%, and the settlement price was 2240.0000 yuan. The trading volume was 269,158 hands, and the open interest was 96,123 hands. The opening price of the main urea contract (UR2105) on May 24 was 2264 yuan.
