DuPont Joins Top 15 Percent of Global Companies with 71 Point EcoVadis Score
DuPont has been awarded the Silver Medal by EcoVadis, a leading authority in sustainability performance evaluations, placing the company in the top 15% of over 150,000 rated organizations worldwide.
The company’s overall score of 71 reflects major strides in its sustainability journey, with top marks in environmental responsibility and sustainable procurement. DuPont also recorded significant improvement in labor practices, human rights, and business ethics, according to EcoVadis’s rigorous framework.
Chief Technology and Sustainability Officer Alexa Dembek highlighted the milestone as a powerful endorsement of DuPont’s global sustainability efforts: “This recognition speaks volumes about our dedication to improving operations through a sustainability lens and the tireless commitment of our global teams.”
EcoVadis assessments are rooted in 21 performance criteria across four main themes, built on internationally recognized standards like the UN Global Compact, ILO conventions, GRI guidelines, and ISO 26000. Scoring within the 91st percentile globally, DuPont’s recognition underscores its role as a leader in embedding sustainability into its full value chain.
This latest achievement demonstrates DuPont’s ongoing commitment to meeting evolving stakeholder expectations and driving positive impact at scale.
