Xianda Reports 2561 Percent Net Profit Surge in H1 2025 Innovation and Overseas Markets Drive Explosive Growth
On August 19, Xianda released its 2025 half-year report, posting revenue of 1.423 billion yuan, up 11.82% year-on-year, and net profit attributable to shareholders soared 2,561.58% to 136 million yuan. Core profit after extraordinary items reached 131 million yuan, a dramatic rebound from last year’s small loss.
The company’s main products—herbicides, fungicides, and intermediates—achieved full-capacity production, with utilization hitting 101.8% and overall output exceeding targets by 10.85%. Xianda’s flagship herbicide, quizalofop-p-ethyl, saw export volumes rise 5.31% and gross margin jump 11.34 percentage points year-to-date.
A key highlight was the commercial success of the new pyrazosulfuron-ethyl herbicide for rice paddies, which quickly gained market recognition for its outstanding weed resistance performance. Xianda is also preparing to launch an upgraded resistant weed management solution for wheat, leveraging its exclusive flupyrsulfuron-methyl product.
With the domestic agrochemical sector stabilizing and overseas demand recovering, Xianda has ramped up global deployment of advanced formulations. The company is accelerating R&D in rice, wheat, corn, soybean, peanuts, non-cultivated land, and biotech breeding, aiming to industrialize a new proprietary compound every two years.
Xianda’s strategy of combining novel products with robust supply chain integration positions the company for sustained growth and greater market share in both China and international markets.
