Entering September, the Chinese acetone market has continued to decline. The acetone market in East China reported an offer of 4,550 CNY/ton on September 1st, which dropped to 4,450 CNY/ton on the 2nd, a decrease of 100 CNY/ton. Across the national acetone market, there have been similar fluctuations.

Market spot resources are abundant, and manufacturers face pressure in shipping goods, while terminal restocking intentions are low, leading to a significant lack of trading activity. The second phase of the Huizhou Zhongxin facility has been restarted, and the Jiangsu Ruiheng facility has been shut down for maintenance. Traders have a strong intention to sell, with actual transactions declining.
